Ensuite Shower Room
This ensuite was created in what used to be a dressing room of a 1890's period property.
This bathroom had to be in keeping with the age of the property. The bath was an antique from the same year as the property, it was extracted from another house of the same age and re-enameled.
The floor in the bathroom is the original oak herring-bone flooring. We had to cut in to the floor and joists to drop a Dukka-board wet room floor in, with built in waste system. This had to be low enough to allow the finished tiles to be flush with the herring bone floor. The oak look-alike tiles had to be cut down to the exact size of oak floorng and laid in the same pattern as the ad-joining floor, so it appears to run through as one floor, with just a frameless piece of glass between them.
