Direct Unvented Cylinder
One of our plumbers working on a direct un-vented hot water cylinder. This particular type of pressurised installation is ideal for a dwelling with no incoming gas main as it is completeley electrically powered.
Indirect Hot water cylinder
A larger installation in a period property, running one half of a 10 bedroom house split over two floors.
This installation includes two indirect cylinders and a 30kw boiler. An indirect cylinder means the boiler runs the heating and hot water systems.
The house has been has six different zones, two for each floor. This means that the heating can be controlled by 6 separate thermostats (making this an energy efficient installation.
In this particular installation the Aga has been utillised for the heating of the hotwater cylinders as well as the boiler.
